My Logo/Business Card

 I started this assignment with four words to describe or represent my personality, interests, and character. They are as follows...

        -     Social, Sporty, Creative, Ambitious

    The logo that I chose to represent me is a social. I added the word butterfly and created a fake company story for the logo. 

    Social Butterfly is a social media management company that professional sports teams can utilize in order to control, monitor, market, and grow their social media accounts. Additionally, the company can help professional athletes within these teams control content to portray an image that embodies the team's moral, social, and ethical principles and keeps the team in a positive light. 

    I took the word social from my brainstormed personality trait list and created a company that embodies my interests: sports, media, and public relations. I ultimately decided on the edit below to be my final logo...

For my business, I wanted a simple, monochrome, black-and-white color scheme almost like a black-and-white photo. When I think of media I think of old-school newspapers, and black and white TV, as a source of personalized memory. I think black and white suits the company and shows professionalism. I choose to call the company social butterfly as that's a description I've been given my entire life. Communication is one of my best skills hence the description. Below is the positive and negative version of my design. For my business card, I decided to type it out in order to clearly show the company name.
